KID'S DIVING - SSI SCUBA RANGERS:

Scuba diving is a totally awesome sport. Until recently, only older kids and adults could do it. Not anymore! Now there's Scuba Rangers, a way cool scuba training program for kids ages 8 to 12. No training is as complete and well designed as the Scuba Rangers Program. The Scuba Rangers manual was specially designed to fit children’s needs and level of understanding. The video shows children the skills they will learn and creates the excitement and fun that is the adventure of diving.

The educational system contains 5 different levels. In a very fun way, kids learn the knowledge and skills required to become comfortable divers, while understanding how important teamwork and discipline are to reach that goal.

The safety of the children is the number one priority during their Scuba Rangers training. Only specially trained Scuba Rangers Instructors are entitled to conduct this program. All water sessions are conducted in the pool or in a confined water area with a maximum depth of 4 metres. In depths greater than 1.50m the student to instructor ratio is two to one.

After completing the Scuba Rangers Development Program, Scuba Rangers can be active in a Scuba Rangers Club permanently. During the club activities the kids will learn about our environment, get more diving experience and have a lot of fun together. They will also have the opportunity to try out different diving specialties like underwater photography or night diving using a dive light in the pool. There are also non-diving activities such as visiting the local zoo, going to movies or competing in games.
